Don Quijote

With breathtaking dance and rousing music, Don Quixote makes the hearts of dance fans beat faster and amazes ballet novices. Even though the somewhat clumsy nobleman Don Quixote is traditionally in the title, the story revolves around the beautiful innkeeper's daughter Kitri and the daredevil Basilio, who want to marry against their parents' wishes. With the help of Don Quixote and his faithful servant Sancho Panza, the wedding finally succeeds. The world-famous literary model has inspired numerous choreographers over the last 400 years. For the Stuttgart Ballet, Argentinian choreographer Maximiliano Guerra has created a version full of technically exciting variations for the soloists, thrilling pas de deux and large ensemble scenes - a ballet experience for the whole family!
