Dürnitz Night Call goes HER*story
Women have not only made history and are still writing it today, they have also shaped, formed and revolutionized it. For a long time, their contributions were neglected in historiography or relegated to supporting roles. It is time to overcome this power of interpretation, to put women at the center of memory and to tell their stories.
With this edition of the Dürnitz Night Call, HER*STORY, we celebrate the diversity and strength of women*'s perspectives. While DJs spin the finest electro music, exciting guided tours through the special exhibition "PROTEST! From Rage to Movement" and through the Landesmuseum's permanent collections invite you to celebrate women's stories.
The Dürnitz Night Call is a joint project between the Pop-Büro Region Stuttgart and the Landesmuseum Württemberg. At the after-work event, DJ sets meet guided tours until late at night. The Dürnitz, a hall in the Old Palace that has been used for celebrations since the Middle Ages, is a museum foyer, lounge and event venue all in one. The name "Night Call" is borrowed from the Kavinsky track "Night call" and stands for an invitation to ring in the night in the museum with good drinks and selected live sets.
