Meret Forêt (Nadine Maisenbacher) explores interfaces in the field of synaesthetic perception. In a reciprocal relationship, she transforms scent traces collected in nature into paintings and olfactory objects. Visual experiences in turn find their expression in scent extracts that adhere to individual objects. Picturesque sections of nature, fragments of mythological creatures and organic objects enter into olfactory connections and open up new imaginary possibilities for the viewer.
