a format by Sabina Aurich and Melanie Grocki Juliane Laitzsch will be showing her drawings of historical textiles and presenting her artist's book 'Spätantike Textilien - Experimente der Annäherung' and Dr. Maaike van Rijn from the Landesmuseum Stuttgart will be talking about the Coptic textiles in the collection.
Juliane Laitzsch has been studying ancient Egyptian textiles for a long time. Drawings that examine and note down fabrics handed down from long ago and describe them in a new and unique way using graphic means. As a scientist, Dr. Maaike van Rijn looks at the major topic of researching, collecting and preserving using examples from the collection in the Landesmuseum Stuttgart.
