Eröffnung Winterlichter im Lapidarium

The Lapidarium invites you to an unforgettable evening in which art, light and sound merge in an impressive way.

On Friday, November 29, 2024, the winter installation "Winter Lights in the Lapidarium" opens its doors. From 17:00, the mysterious sculpture garden will shine in a fascinating light installation that dares to merge a classically designed sculpture garden with contemporary light art.

A musical highlight will accompany the opening night: Stuttgart-based record label Predawn Records will create a special atmosphere with its deep, hypnotic techno sounds inspired by the ever-changing forces of nature. Visitors can enjoy the electronic sounds via silent headphones (limited number of 50) while exploring the wintry park.

Warming drinks such as punch and mulled wine from the Kreis wine shop create a cozy atmosphere, while the light installation and the sculpture garden can be experienced in a new light. A limited number of lanterns for exploring the Lapidarium are available to borrow for a small deposit.

Recommendation: warm clothing and sturdy shoes, as some of the paths are unpaved.
