Stefanie Seiz-Kupferer's spatial installation "Faden-Schwarm" refers to the special location of the bunker and the absence of light.
She remains mostly non-representational in her webs and drawings and focuses on universally valid processes of transformation and form. Her works are based on the intensive study of moths.
Rather than creating depictions of nature, Seiz-Kupferer uses her webs, drawings and spatial installations to describe and construct the transformative space of metamorphosis with filigree materiality, structure and texture.
