Flamenco Wintertanztage

The Flamenco Winter Dance Days will take place at the Dance and Performance Production Center from 03-05.01.2025. Dancer Carmen Camacho, an inspiring artist, will be coming to Stuttgart to dance into the new year together with Catarina Mora.

The courses in detail:
Course 1
"Body training in preparation for flamenco dance" with Catarina Mora
Whether strengthening the muscles, coordination or flexibility, everything contributes to developing body awareness in order to be able to use these skills in dance. Fast turns or feet are almost impossible without special training to prepare the body for them. The training is always held in relation to the music and also serves the precision of movement. Please bring training clothes and a mat.

"Bulerías" with Carmen Camacho (for beginners to intermediate level)
Something that looks so easy and yet requires so much dance training: the Bulería can be seen at every party, at every encore. Carmen offers pure fun, combining humor and skill in a very charming and challenging way. With very little step material, she conjures the Bulería out of every dancer.

"Technique mantón por Tango de Málaga" with Carmen Camacho (for intermediate to advanced dancers)
Who better to teach than Carmen Camacho: the Malageña has the songs and dances of her homeland in her blood. The challenging dance material with mantón will be an enrichment for everyone. In her well-known friendly and competent manner, Carmen takes time for every dancer.
