Students from the Hochschule der Medien will be presenting their work, which was created as part of the "Visual language and photo design" seminar. They show their respective interpretations of the theme "Stuttgart as a science location". There are no limits to their imagination and versatility.

"In hardly any other area of photography is the wealth of ideas, but also the technical implementation of even unusual motifs as much in demand as in advertising. The focus is on visual communication - conveying a message with the help of the photographic image. The shorter and more concise this message is, the more effective it is. And the clearer and more unambiguous the image is, the more likely it is to be perceived and absorbed by the viewer." (Seminar description, HDM)

As part of Prof. Gabriele Kille's "Visual Language and Photo Design" seminar, students from the Advertising and Market Communication course at Stuttgart Media University came together in eight groups. This resulted in various subject areas in which the students were able to experiment with photography, motifs, objects, locations and professional image processing in order to stage and present "Stuttgart as a science location". Under this motto, the students show their own interpretations of various self-imposed focal points. Immerse yourself in worlds such as "Stuttgart through the eyes of a scientist", "Albert Einstein as a symbol of science" or "Reflection" - an examination of the effect of reflection and get to know the students' work.
