THE ORGAN COLLECTION
The State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart is known throughout the world as a European center of church music and concert organ playing. It is home to the largest organ collection in Germany, with eleven examples providing an impressive overview of the technology and sound of the organ since the time of Johann Sebastian Bach. Every epoch and every cultural area has developed its own type of organ and the Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences offers an impressive cross-section of these variations of the 'queen of instruments'.
