The series on contemporary Italian art presents works by the Marche-born painter and sculptor Tonino Maurizi. The exhibition "Genesis" deals with the myth of creation.
Maurizi's works explore space and matter in a new way. The space is criss-crossed by lines and spirals that merge into a sparkling chromatic variety of red, yellow, blue, green and violet. Harmony and beauty, energy and pure joie de vivre as well as figuration and abstraction are his sources of inspiration.
