Without words, no language barriers
A family mourns in silence until a series of strange events opens a window to a world in which memory mixes with fantasy, reality with dreams; a universe in which the dead and the living can meet shortly before their final farewell.
Mario Banushi was inspired by his own experiences and the funeral customs and traditions of the Balkans and brings a personal, handcrafted world of images to the stage. In "Goodbye, Lindita", the moment of farewell is an end, but at the same time a new beginning - without ever hearing the characters speak.
