A modern farce.
By Edith Ehrhardt based on the film by Andreas Geiger
Andreas inherits a meadow and a hut from his grandfather in his home village. But he soon discovers that half of the hut on the edge of the forest is not actually on his property. His grandfather must have made a mistake of 4 meters when building the hut 80 years ago. None of this would be a problem if the adjacent large community forest hadn't been bought by an entrepreneur to make it his private hunting ground. For Andreas, a battle against the power of money, ownership claims, legislation and bureaucracy begins. Neither the building authority, the judiciary, the mayor, the regulars' table nor the church have any ideas on how to find an amicable solution and thus preserve the hut. In the end, the threat of demolition looms, but Andreas is inventive and doesn't give up.
A topical story about "land grabbing" on a small scale is told with pointed comedy and Swabian wit...
