Happy Birthday Elvis! presented by Marco Spreider & Lea Hieronymus

Live-Show on Stage
90 years of Elvis - Happy Birthday!
His life. His love. His songs.

To this day, the fascination and magic surrounding Elvis, King of Rock'n'Roll, remains unbroken. His "Love me tender" timbre, the languorous "Always on my mind" look, his legendary hip swing and probably also the great "Are you lonesome tonight" feeling that always resonated live on in the hearts of his fans to this day.
The live show 90 Years of Elvis - Happy Birthday! takes the audience right into the heart of "In the Ghetto", into the rousing world of the "Teddy Bear" of Rock'n'Roll. And into the dazzling life story of this unique singer, actor and greatest entertainer of all time.
The Munich singer Marco Spreider (ARD "Herbstfest der Volksmusik" 2009, among others) and musical actress Lea Hieronymus lead the audience through a lively evening full of Elvis song gems, funny anecdotes and stories from his life that the audience has never heard before. Marco Spreider sings "Can't help falling in love" or "My way" with great respect for the great legacy of this world star, but also with a great voice and sounds very authentic without wanting to copy Elvis. Whether on the piano himself or as a presenter in conversation with Lea, together they make the perfect entertainers: sometimes cheekily swinging their hips, sometimes chatting or joking about anecdotes, sometimes in a two-part duet. Lea's likeable, fresh youthfulness and cheerful repartee shifts the "90 Years of Elvis Birthday Show!" to the 2.0 level.
A powerful-voiced and rousing evening full of emotion, touching songs and amusing stories. A live experience that moves the audience and sends them off into the night. And what a dignified tribute to the 90th birthday of the "King of Rock'n'Roll".

Munich-based singer Marco Spreider had his first Elvis experience at the tender age of seven, when he spontaneously performed "Can't fall in love" at a birthday party and wowed everyone. He had picked up Elvis' songs at home and was discovered by his choirmaster in the church choir as a child. In 1991, he studied solo singing at the Richard Strauss Conservatory and the University of Music in Munich. After engagements at the opera in Göttingen and an encounter with Thomas Quasthoff, among others, Claasen studied for a further seven years in Hanover with Charlotte Lehmann and Ernst Huber von Contwig.
As a freelance singer, he has also toured in numerous operas and operettas on the big stage and as a soloist in the Christmas tour of the "Blechschaden" ensemble of the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra. Claasen's repertoire includes church singing, oratorios, gospel and lieder recitals such as Schubert's Winterreise and Schumann's Dichterliebe. His debut album entitled Der große Traum was released by Warner in October 2009. In the ARD show Das Herbstfest der Volksmusik, from the Erdgas Arena in Riesa, he also presented the single Der große Traum from his first album in October 2009.

Lea Hieronymus, daughter of Mainz comedian Sven Hieronymus, the "Rocker vom Hocker", is continuing her family's stage career. She began her vocal training at the age of 14. This was followed by training as a musical actress and engagements in the musicals "Schinderhannes" (Jule) and "Gutenberg" (Ennelin), among others, as well as numerous appearances in various live TV formats (including HR "Hessen lacht zur Fassenacht", WDR "Nightwash" and "Quatsch Comedy Club", SWR "Comedy vom Rhein" (Lars Reichow show), "Stuttgarter Comedyclash" and "Stuttgarter Besen 2021").
She has been touring the country with her own band for many years, writes music for the Mainzer Fastnacht, among others, and has been on stage as an actress at the Boulevard Theater in Deidesheim since 2019.
