CubaBoarisch 2.0 has set a new standard: The musical understanding between Cuba and Bavaria has become an integral part of festivals. Whether Salsa, Son or Landler, the band simply has it in their blood to play lively Cuban rhythms as well as earthy Bavarian ones. No wonder, because the lively band is fronted by two powerhouses: The Cuban thoroughbred musician and singer Yinet Rojas Cardona and the Chiemgau original Leo Meixner.

Yinet is a real Guantanamera - she was born in Guantanamo and lived in the Cuban capital Havana for many years. It is therefore no coincidence that the Cubaboarians' new tour hit is called "Havana Viva! - as Yinet's homage to her hometown, which is bubbling over with music and energy. Yinet knows how to showcase elements of Havana's current Latin pop scene with her virtuoso guitar playing and her extraordinary voice. Leo throws on his steric accordion, sings and plays from the heart about his native Upper Bavaria. Together with the incredible band, the result is an amazing variety of sounds and a groove that gets you moving.

The Guantanamera and the Chiemgauer effortlessly mix their musical cocktail of Cuban rum, global pop and local Bavarian folk. There's only one thing for it: Salud y baila! A prosit and let's get dancing!
