The German Armed Forces Music Corps - wholeheartedly for children in need Whether classical or film music, fans of orchestral music will get their money's worth at HEARTBEATS.

The Bundeswehr Music Corps, Germany's leading symphonic wind orchestra, will be on stage for the seventh time. Conducted by Lieutenant Colonel Christian Weiper, the first part of the concert is traditionally filled with classical music. This year's program includes the overture to the opera "Der Freischütz" by Carl Maria von Weber and the piano cycle "Pictures at an Exhibition" by Modest Mussorgsky. In the second part of the evening, the audience will join the orchestra on a musical journey through film history: from the Italian old master Ennio Morricone to the German Oscar winner Hans Zimmer and his music for Hollywood films such as "Interstellar" and "Pearl Harbour".

The net proceeds from the benefit concert will go to regional associations for the benefit of children in need.
