If there was such a thing as the decathlon of cabaret, Helge Thun would probably be an Olympic champion, if not a district champion. As a magician, he has won more prizes than he can count, as a poet he was German team champion in the poetry slam and in theater sports he learned the craft of improv early on. With "Reim gewinnt", the "Comedy Stube" and "Tauschrausch", he invented three successful show formats. With Helge und das Udo, he was the head of one of the most original comedy duos for 20 years. TV formats, radio columns, books and various other stage programs such as "Beauty and the Beast" with Heiner Kondschak or "Funny Magic" with Topas are not even included.
And all this just to zigzag straight ahead to the zenith! New rhymes, new tricks and new comedy. Even after 30 years, Helge still draws from the full and continues where he left off with his last stage program "Hero of Comedy": as a world-famous local hero, international leader of the regional charts and long-time relegation player with formerly good chances of promotion.
With "Zickzack zum Zenit", he may have already reached the last letter of the alphabet, but he is far from at the end of his tether. You can see for yourself. Preferably live in the theater. Where else?
