Helloween - 40 Years Anniversary Tour + special Guest: Beast in Black
NEWS FROM THE STUDIO: HELLOWEEN FILING THE FOLLOW-UP TO THEIR #1 ALBUME AND ANNOUNCING THE 2025/2026 ANNIVERSARY WORLD TOUR
It was the bombshell of 2021: with their sixteenth, self-titled album "HELLOWEEN", the Hamburg band legends returned with a seven-piece line-up and caused a global metal earthquake: The album confidently cracked the #1 charts in several countries and was frenetically celebrated by fans and experts alike. The triumphal procession continued live in 2022 and 2023, leaving nothing to be desired at 60 emotional concerts in 30 countries. As Wacken headliners, at shows in Los Angeles, New York and the "Monsters of Rock" festivals in South America, as well as the first sold-out gig at the legendary Budokan in Tokyo, over 800,000 fans and the reunited band were in raptures.000 fans and the reunited band members were in tears of sweat and joy - to be relived on the live CD and Blu-ray/DVD "LIVE AT BUDOKAN" to be released on December 13, 2024.
With these highlights on the shelf, HELLOWEEN are entering their anniversary year and celebrating 40 years of band and metal history. While Andi Deris, Michael Kiske, Michael Weikath, Kai Hansen, Markus Grosskopf, Sascha Gerstner and Dani Löble are working intensively on the follow-up to the sensational reunion album, they are now announcing a superlative anniversary tour at the same time, as bassist and founding member Markus Grosskopf explains: "We've thought of some great surprises for the fans and will be playing tracks from the band's history that haven't been heard live for a very long time, or even ever, alongside the brand new songs that will be hitting the boards live for the first time. The shows will be a fantastic experience for all of us!"
frontman Andi Deris adds: "The creative work in the studio is incredible fun for us and the album promises to be an absolute highlight - but nothing in the world compares to a HELLOWEEN concert: The energy of our audience is simply indescribable and we can't wait to finally go full throttle with the fans again. The upcoming tour will be bigger, better and more impressive than ever!"
The live dates start on 17.10.25 in Luxembourg and will take HELLOWEEN all over Europe for six weeks. The flight cases will not only contain the fresh material from the as yet untitled new longplayer, but also the setlists of the successful metal band BEAST IN BLACK: As 'very special guests', the Finns are another guarantee for a metal party from another planet. Dates in Asia, South and North America are scheduled for the first half of 2026, before Germany's number one metal ambassadors will make it clear at Europe's biggest festivals in the summer of '26 that the 'glorious seven' are still firing on all cylinders after 40 years.
