Weekly workshop with Improtheater Stuttgart at the Kulturhausverein Untertürkheim from 15.01.2025 to 05.03.2025

In improvisational theater, impulses, movements, characters and settings emerge from the moment without having been rehearsed or discussed beforehand. They then come together and become scenes, stories or simply moments of shared creativity - to the delight of the audience and also simply for our own well-being of body, heart and mind. Using exercises from improv theater and classical acting, we discover how to develop scenes together and we experiment with releasing creativity in different ways.

We train ourselves to focus fully on the moment and our performance partners instead of planning ahead - and to welcome mistakes with enthusiasm instead of sweeping them more (or rather less) elegantly under the table.

The course is suitable for complete beginners who want to try out improv theater and also for other improv enthusiasts who want to work their way from the basics to the more advanced topics in small steps and continuously.

The workshop will take place on 8 evenings from 15.01.25 to 05.03.25. The leader Steve Jarand www.stevejarand.com speaks German, simple English and charming Denglish.
