Jewish Pop

After focusing on Jewish jazz in previous years, the orchestra is now exploring the history of pop music over the last 50 years and dedicating itself to Jewish artists from the current and past pop music scene. From Billy Joel and the Beastie Boys to Amy Winehouse, Pink and Troye Sivan - Jewish musicians are constantly shaping pop culture, some obviously, some less well known. In new orchestral arrangements by Matthias Schaff, well-known songs and surprising discoveries are presented musically and supplemented with exciting facts. Accompanied by singers Jelena Kuljić and Damian Rebgetz and conducted by Daniel Grossmann, the result is an evening full of musical diversity and exciting backgrounds.
