Kammer of Love

I have been asked to write a text which, if I have understood correctly, is intended to persuade you to visit the Chamber of Love. All I can say is: Come! Or don't come if you have better things to do with your time. Go out! Live! Wild and dangerous! Love! Hate! Be jealous! Tender! Impatient! Poetic! Embarrassing! Argue and make up! Albert around! And above all: "Always be drunk! That's all, the only solution. In order not to feel the terrible chamber yoke of time that breaks your shoulders and bends you to the earth, you must intoxicate yourselves, without restraint. But with what? With wine, poetry or virtue, whatever you like. But intoxicate yourselves!" - as the French poet Charles Baudelaire used to say. I have every sympathy for your absence. Absolutely. Every empty seat is a consolation, a promise that life is greater than art. And then just come to the next Chamber of Love and tell us what you've experienced in the meantime.
