The Advent concerts have been a tradition in the concert program of the arcata stuttgart chamber orchestra for 18 years. Literature and music in dialog! Here, young and old get in the mood for Christmas with well-known and lesser-known texts and works.

Since its foundation, the ensemble - under the direction of Patrick Strub - has delighted audiences in Stuttgart and the region, in Europe, but also on major concert tours to the Far East or Australia with the liveliness and stylistic confidence of its interpretation and, in particular, the joy of music-making, which is immediately apparent to the listener. In 2024, the arcata stuttgart chamber orchestra celebrated its 40th anniversary. At this year's Advent concert "Gold", very special works will be performed in interplay with texts by known and unknown authors (selection by Rudolf Guckelsberger).
