Katharina von Bora led an exciting life as a farmer, cook, gardener, winegrower, cowmaid and a charitable benefactor who loved to debate. The former nun was an ingenious all-rounder and created a social cosmos with six children, foster children, guests and discussion groups for her workaholic reformer husband Martin Luther - who was busy translating the Bible and wanted to convince the whole world that God and not the Pope was our Lord. If she were alive today, she would probably preside over an international conference center. Even her husband loved to call her 'Mr. Käthe'. Gesine Keller will introduce this free spirit.
