Stuttgart film premiere with Burhan Qurbani, Kenda Hmeidan

Five years after his furious adaptation of "Berlin Alexanderplatz", Burhan Qurbani returns with a directorial work that reinterprets William Shakespeare's "Richard III" and relocates it to the Berlin of today. Atmospherically dense, visually austere and with polished dialog, "Kein Tier. So Wild." leads us into a relentless war between two families of Arab descent, in which the youngest daughter of one of them brutally makes her way to the top through intrigue and murder - and ultimately pays a high price for it.
