Polyphonic spherical overtone singing, urban yodeling overflowing with joie de vivre, traditional chants from Georgia and the Alpine region, Western overtone singing and moments of free improvisation - the singers combine folk music with modern vocal art to create a unique sound experience.
They explore all facets of the human voice: from harmonically flowing to weird, wild, powerful to spherical sound foils on which the overtones float seemingly weightlessly.
Layers of Voice are one of the very few formations in Europe that have mastered Western overtone singing as an ensemble.
