Linie 2: 100 Jahre Pierre Boulez

The SWR Symphony Orchestra plays works by Pierre Boulez, Arnold Schönberg, Anton Webern and Johann Sebastian Bach at the Wizemann under the direction of Oscar Jockel.

Oscar Jockel conducts the SWR Symphony Orchestra. Together they will perform works by Pierre Boulez ("Polyphonie X"), Arnold Schönberg ("Verklärte Nacht" op. 4 (version for string orchestra)), Anton Webern (Symphony op. 21) and Johann Sebastian Bach/Anton Webern ("Fuga (2. Ricercata) a sei voci" from the "Musical Offering" BWV 1079/5).

Duration: approx. 90 minutes. Recommended from grade 8. Teaching materials for selected concerts are available free of charge 6 weeks before the concert at schulmusik-online.de.
