The interactive exhibits in the traveling exhibition cover a wide range of mathematical topics. The exhibition opens up a new, playful approach for visitors. Participants can expect a mixture of action, concentration, action, thinking, insight and fun.

The Mathematikum in Giessen is the world's first hands-on mathematical museum.

Around 200 exhibits open a new door to mathematics. Visitors of all ages and backgrounds can experiment: They lay puzzles, build bridges, rack their brains in puzzle games, stand in a giant soap skin and much more.

The exhibits at the Mathematikum are not only on display in Giessen. With the traveling exhibition, a selection of particularly proven and transportable exhibit duplicates are also going on tour. It encourages visitors from all over Germany and now even worldwide to have fun with mathematical experiments.

The exhibits of the traveling exhibition can be admired during the entire science festival during the opening hours of the town hall.

You will find the exhibits in the foyer on the first floor and in the foyer on the 2nd floor.

The exhibition was conceived by Mathematikum Gießen e.V. and is being held in cooperation with them.
