Mercedes-Benz-Museum - Dauerausstellung

The Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart is the only place in the world to showcase the innovations of 130 years of automotive history - as well as the latest developments of the present and future.

16,500 square meters and nine levels, the Mercedes-Benz Museum brings the entire history of the automobile to life. Seven myth rooms describe the history of the brand, five collection rooms describe the cross-temporal themes at Mercedes-Benz. Many of the 160 vehicles on display represent entire eras, have shaped them and tell their own story. These include the Gullwing from the 1950s or the Silver Arrows, but also the Mercedes-Benz 230 SL, the first sports car with a stable passenger cell and crumple zone. These vehicles were already innovative in their day and repeatedly heralded progress. Visitors quickly realize that the history of Mercedes-Benz is full of innovations and that the focus was always on the future - just as it is today
