The JuCo (Junger Chor Stuttgart) will be performing the contemporary "Missa latina" in the Matthäuskirche Schöttle-Platz. Immerse yourself in the Caribbean groove with us!
South American rhythms combined with jazzy sequences of notes - the Junge Chor Stuttgart e.V. performs a spirited pre-Christmas concert.
The Latin work for the mass was written in 2016 by the contemporary composer Bobbi Fischer for the Landesakademie Ochsenhausen and will delight audiences with its instrumental line-up of violin, bandoneon, piano, double bass, drums and percussion. In addition to soprano Gundula Peyerl, Katrin Eckstein (bandoneon), Matheus Baião (violin), Nicholas Kok (piano), Dominik Müller (percussion) and Peter Wondra (bass) will also be taking part.
The evening music will be conducted by Paul Theis.
