A play with few words about being alone, sticking together and enduring uncertainty - mixed with a touch of magic and a great mystery.

Five strangers meet in a launderette. Where they have just come from or what they are looking for remains uncertain for the time being. Only the vague promise "Wash your troubles away" looms as a neon sign above the entrance.

Alternating between waiting and running off, with and against each other, over the top and straight through, choreographer Beatrix Simkó's dance theater piece explores moments of being overwhelmed and the cohesion of the community. The ensemble uses the laundromat as a course for encounters and negotiations. They climb on washing machines, climb over benches and move through the room on roller skates. They want to know why the world sometimes feels so heavy and whether there is a world beyond the laundry drum.
