Afterwards at the BIX Jazzclub:
In 2022, study friends Frank Dupree and Simon Höfele released the CD "Salted Caramel" together with their friends. This is a wonderful testimony to the fact that classical music and jazz belong so closely together that no boundaries can be recognized.
Höfele will also present his special
homage to the greatest jazz trumpeters at this night owl concert - Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Chet Baker and Roy Hargrove, for example, are on the program
.
In the first part, the Frank Dupree Trio will pay tribute to precisely this idea of boundlessness
with the brilliant music of Nikolai Kapustin. Look forward to four exceptional musicians doing their favorite thing: grooving and swinging together
