Multi-choral instrumental works by Ruffino d'Assisi, Giovanni Gabrieli and Heinrich Schütz in the Ev. Johanneskirche am Feuersee.

The preoccupation with the spatial dimension and the world view itself is an omnipresent theme in the 16th century: Albrecht Dürer publishes his theory of perspective representation, Christoforo Colombo expands the world map with his voyages of discovery, in Padua and finally Venice, composers and musicians deal with architecture and sound. They created multi-choral compositions that incorporated the positioning of the choirs in space. In the idea of a proportioned divine universe, the listener finds his earthly place in the midst of the resulting magnificent spatial sound of the distributed ensembles.
