Neujahrskonzert: Neapolitanische Lieder und Serenaden

Italy became a universal place of longing early on. From a local perspective, the country stands for summer, sun, good wine and "amore". With the program "La dolce vita!?", baritone Lorenzo de Cunzo and pianist Tarek El Barbari go in search of this Italian attitude to life.

Despite all the lightness, the program also focuses on the quiet, melancholy nuances of broken hearts and unrequited love. Between well-known hits such as "O sole mio" or "Core `ngrato", there are also lesser-known but no less charming Italian and Neapolitan songs. An event organized by the Italian Cultural Institute Stuttgart and the association "Friends of the Italian Cultural Institute Stuttgart" in cooperation with the City of Stuttgart.
