Open Piano Bühne @Sound of Stuttgart

Play along on the Open Piano Stage! The "Sound of Stuttgart" festival invites everyone to present their piano skills in front of an audience - whether spontaneously or with a fixed slot.

Music has the power to connect people. Throughout the year, the Open Piano project creates a place where sounds create community and overcome barriers. Amateurs and virtuosos alike are welcome to make the keys ring and shape the sound in the middle of the city. The festival is now calling on all musicians to present their music on the Open Piano Stage. Exciting sounds can be brought to life in front of an audience in an inspiring atmosphere.

For all those who would like a fixed slot on stage, there is the opportunity to send a short video of playing on the Open Piano to andrea.beck@stuttgart.de. Of course, there are also free slots available for spontaneous performances.

Admission to the Open Piano stage is free. Everyone who plays will receive free drinks.

The "Open Piano" project is a cooperation between StadtPalais - Museum für Stuttgart, Stuttgarter Straßenbahnen AG and Jukus Jugendkunstschule & Kreativwerkstatt.

In addition to the musical program, the interactive exhibition "Milestones of Hip-Hop - the Mutterstadt Edition" is a special highlight of the festival.

The Sound of Stuttgart - Music Festival & Exhibition powered by Sparda-Bank BW can be seen and heard from February 6 to 16, 2025. In a unique spatial atmosphere, designed by trabanten.kollektiv, this festival will be a cultural journey of discovery that presents the sound of the city from a wide variety of perspectives.

In collaboration with Im Wizemann, the About Pop festival, the Pop-Büro Region Stuttgart, Merlin Kulturzentrum, students of the Stuttgart University of Music, JuKuS Jugendkunstschule Kinderwerkstatt e.V., Musikwerk Stuttgart and SSB.
