Open Stage IN DER ROSENAU

Over 20 years ago, Berlin artist Detlef Winterberg and like-minded people founded the "Scheinbar" in Berlin: a venue that gave everyone the opportunity to try out, record and develop their program acts. This principle of the "open stage" was soon to be found in all of Germany's major cities in the years that followed. In the meantime, an "Open Stage" is held every evening on countless, mostly small stages throughout the country, where special moments and tragic moments, comic events and great personal successes are relived and celebrated again and again!

The OpenStage in the Rosenau was the first Open Stage in Stuttgart twelve years ago and was initially a cautious attempt to establish in Stuttgart what has been a cult event in other cities for years. In the meantime, the OpenStage in the Rosenau is highly frequented and well attended by both artists and the public. It has become a permanent and important part of stage culture and it is impossible to imagine the city's cultural life without it.

The OpenStage always takes place on a Tuesday, twice a month during the season.
Anyone can register and perform - cabaret artists, pantomimes, actors, comedians, clowns, singers, steppers, musicians, dancers, magicians, jugglers ... Professionals, amateurs and beginners. Apart from dinner and free drinks, there is no fee, just the opportunity to give your best in front of an audience.
