The Kurdish-German soprano Pervin Chakar is not only a refined interpreter of the operatic repertoire, but also tirelessly popularizes the musical repertoire of her homeland. With her unique voice, she combines Mesopotamian hymns and sacred songs with Western and Eastern instruments. She has given numerous concerts and sung in operas with renowned symphonic orchestras from Ireland to Albania, Spain, Kurdistan, France, Turkey, Russia, Italy and throughout Germany.
