Plieningens Geschichte in Bildern – Berufe und Architektur im Wandel der Zeit

Special exhibition at the Plieningen Local History Museum with photographs of Plieningen buildings and professions from Tilo Schad's archive.

From June 27, 2024, the Plieningen Local History Museum will be presenting the photography exhibition "Plieningen's history in pictures - professions & architecture through the ages". Historic buildings are more than just stone relics of past eras. They are living testimonies that tell of past lifestyles, professions and the changing times. Under the motto "Professions & Architecture", visitors have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the past and learn about local history. Historical photographs of significant buildings such as a bookbindery or a seed shop, which are depicted with their associated professions, invite visitors to explore and rediscover them.
