The path leads over abysses. Nothing is suppressed. Poetry takes a close look and reserves the right to make something of it. It's about precision landings for head and heart. Word art risks sentences and dares to tackle topics that the mainstream would simply pass by.
And humor hovers above it all.
Boris Kischkat on guitar, Andreas Krennerich on saxophone and Daniel Kartmann on percussion form the evening's band. Their thing is the free play of the moment, the sensed twist. They not only carry Timo Brunke's verses, but also those of the surprise guest on groping hands.
Whichever poet it will be - a conversation will unfold, across verses and numbers. Small talk and deep talk will merge.
