It has forced its way into our lives, forces us onto the chair, makes our backs atrophy and reminds us to work. On the other hand, we can rely on the table, it is infinitely resilient and does not hold anything against us. As the perfect level between the mouth and the floor, it divides the world into above and below, into those who sit at the table and those who fall below. Time for an investigation.
"An equally absurd and philosophically abysmal topic that the Materialtheater ensemble has taken on (...) A deliciously crude fantasy!" (Adrienne Braun, StZ) "It's wonderful how playfully the language flows into this mixture of puppet theater and drama. The cleverly invented ludicrous stories from the material theater wonder box are fun and lead many a behavior amusingly ad absurdum. (...) A light-hearted, poetically entertaining evening." (Fidena-Portal)
