Rosenau TANZNACHT
- Location:
- Rosenau - Lokalität & Bühne, Rotebühlstraße 109 b, 70178 Stuttgart
Since 2009, the Rosenau in the west of Stuttgart has been the venue and host of the Rosenau TANZNACHT, which has become one of the most important dates in Stuttgart's monthly calendar for evening dance events.
The Rosenau TANZNACHT was co-initiated by "DJ Projekt Hafenrand" - two guys from Hamburg who, inspired by the dance evenings in the Hanseatic city at "Atisha", "Downtown Bluesclub" and at "Kampnagel", founded the Rosenau TANZNACHT together with two guys from Stuttgart.
An evening for women and men of the generation that experienced their youth in the 80s and 90s, who grew up with the songs of that time and who today remember the hits of the last 50 years in a relaxed, good-humored way and dancing together - just like in the song "Altes Fieber" by the Toten Hosen.
It goes through all styles of music alternating with the current hits of the recent past, creating a mixture that can only be found in the Rosenau.
Often surprisingly for the dancers, some almost forgotten musical gems are of course also remembered, which again and again make up the special charm of every TANZNACHT.
Even though the Swabians have been standing at the turntables without the Hanseatics since 2014, the pleasant, relaxed atmosphere in the Rosenau - the "living room of the West" - and the motto "Rose meets Anchor!" have remained. Once a month, the Rosenau becomes Stuttgart's "Great Freedom", a cult club where the fun of dancing and music is celebrated in a unique way. Get off the sofa, dance instead of Netflix!
