Swabian from the Feinschda: poetry, drama, hearty food
Johannes F. Kretschmann has uncovered old and new literary gems of our mother tongue and, together with actress Hanna D. Stauß, promises a lively reading with Gaude, Gschroi and Noschtalgie.
"Oim a Veschper en da Rucksack schwätza" can be said by any clever Swabian, but to put our dialect into written form according to all the rules of the art is something only the aesthetes among the creators can do. The Laizer author and linguist Johannes F. Kretschmann and the "congenial actress" (SchwäZ) Hanna D. Stauß from Inneringen recite time-honoured and contemporary Swabian poets such as Sebastian Blau, Michel Buck, Ingrid Koch and Hugo Brotzer with scenic flair. In between, they utter the most uncharitable invective from Thaddäus Troll's ranting and recite a "Goischtergschiicht" from Kretschmann's pen. For the dramatic finale, they slip into the role of Adam and Eve in the Fall of Man from Sebastian Sailer's "Swabian Creation". The latest inventions from the Swabian kitchen, vegan recipes for hearty classics, are also presented in a tasty way. The entertaining "Komeed" is suitable for young and old, for those who like to eat and drink.
