Keyboardist Scott Kinsey returns to Europe in early 2025 with a heartfelt tribute to jazz icon Joe Zawinul!

If there's a keyboardist better suited to carry on the sonic legacy of Joe Zawinul, he must be living in another dimension. At the very least, Scott Kinsey's 2019 release We Speak Luniwaz proved that point, but it also showed the synthesizer and bandleader finding himself even as he speaks through the Zawinul canon. Now Kinsey is honoring Zawinul once again with the Luniwaz LIVE Tour, which will kick off in February/March 2025.

The current Luniwaz LIVE album (Whirlwind Recordings) was recorded live at Jazz Dock in Prague on April 29, 2023. Kinsey has a monster band that has not only woven the Zawinul material into their own DNA, but also has the amazing ability to put it into their own unique zone. The stellar "sidemen" lineup includes fiery alto saxophonist Patrick Bartley Jr, electric bassist Hadrien Feraud and mega drummer Gergo Borlai.
