Reading with Theresa Bell. For a grade 5-6 school class from the west of Stuttgart.

Twelve-year-old Sepia realizes that ink and books are more valuable than gold in Flohall as soon as she arrives in the famous port city with its fragrant ink and whispering paper.
Sepia has been living here for over a year now and soon she has to prove herself in her first exam. But the ink magic is going crazy: texts are twisted into cryptic messages, ink creatures report eerie events and a tremor goes through the city. Will Flohall be caught up in a past that is even darker than the Ink War?

Theresa Bell was born in 1991 and grew up in a small town on the Lower Rhine. She studied Japanese and German studies. Her debut novel "Sepia and the Awakening of Ink Magic" was published in 2024. Theresa Bell lives in Hamburg.
