Skipping Records - one band, four friends. Formed for study purposes and united by their love of jazz, the young band reinterprets unthinkable standards and does not shy away from encounters with musical styles from far-flung parts of the world. They devote themselves to new styles with an enamored eye for detail and seek dialogues between eras and cultures.

You can be sure of a journey through time, space and emotional worlds on an evening with Skipping Records. Whether in lilting ballads, classic blues numbers or waltzes that invite you to dance, the band always creates varied but harmonious evenings in which the focus is on listening pleasure.

The standards of jazz literature that are close to their hearts are reinterpreted in their performances and programmatically combined with styles from other cultures in order to constantly expand their repertoire.
