THE MOBILE HUMAN - YOUR PATHS. YOUR DECISIONS. YOUR FUTURE.

Autonomous driving, smart e-bikes, on-demand buses and round-the-clock delivery services: What shape will our transportation take - both today and in the years to come? This question is the focus of the new special exhibition THE MOBILE HUMAN at the Mercedes-Benz Museum. This exhibition invites visitors to explore the various aspects of mobility and its changes in a playful way.

From September 15, 2023 to November 17, 2024, visitors can use the interactive program on level 0 of the Mercedes-Benz Museum free of charge. The exhibition round includes experience and theme stations as well as the "Stuttgart Wall", which provides information about other attractions and interesting places for mobility in the city.

As partners of the exhibition, six companies have contributed their knowledge to the content and questions: Robert Bosch GmbH (Bosch eBike Systems), the German Aerospace Center (DLR), Mercedes-Benz AG, Stadtwerke Stuttgart GmbH, Stuttgarter Straßenbahnen AG and Stuttgarter Wohnungs- und Städtebaugesellschaft mbH. DER MOBILE MENSCH is a project of the Science-Center Universum® Bremen. The communication and design agency GfG/Gruppe für Gestaltung conceived the exhibition and action platform with scientific support from DLR. The project was implemented for the first time in Bremen from 2019 to 2020.

The eight experience stations focus on a playful exploration of eight mobility topics: availability, comfort, flexibility, safety, information, health, deceleration and values. At five themed stations, visitors can discover the importance of mobility for everyone and society as a whole, as well as a wide range of connections: mobility in connection with living, mobility, work, energy, consumption and travel.Activities and events will take place throughout Stuttgart over the entire duration of the exhibition, providing in-depth information and inviting visitors to join in.
