Composition - Improvisation The Open_Music Ensemble invites the trombonist and composer Mike Svoboda to take part in the concert "Spannungsfeld 2024" at the Hospitalkirche Stuttgart.
Ensemble improvisation as collective real-time composition. Improvisation and composition are musical aspects that do not have to contradict each other. Freedom and rules do not have to be socially or musically irreconcilable opposites. This experience forms the basis for our concert series Spannungsfeld.
The student ensemble JAM (Junge Aktuelle Musik) from the Stuttgart Music School will also be presenting improvisation miniatures that were developed in workshops with their director Alexander Adiarte and the Open_Music Ensemble.
