Everyone knows it: tiredness in a relationship. When you look into your partner's face after ten years and realize: "Before marriage, I wanted to live forever". Almost everyone once had their dreams of a happy and fulfilled existence. And what's left of it? At 25, you marry the person who blows your mind - and at 50, you realize that you've succeeded.

But is marriage really outdated despite high divorce rates? Are single life, evening companions and online dating portals a viable alternative?
Can't the old institution of marriage be modernized? For men today, for example, it's not important that a woman can cook, but that she doesn't know a good lawyer. The man now knows anyway: whoever is on top has to do the washing up. The only important thing today is that the relationship is balanced:
One is right, the other is the husband.

Marriage also has its good sides. You come home and always have the same caregiver who rejects you. Marriage doesn't have to be boring either. You can also take out life insurance on each other, then it has the great tension of who wins. There are just a few rules to follow. The most important one is: fidelity. Many people can't do that. Why not? It works with animals too. Penguins are faithful to each other for a lifetime - but they all look the same...

Stephan Bauer is setting a good example by walking down the aisle (again), true to the motto: "Marriage is stupidity out of common sense". And why not? "We've been together for five years, argue a lot, have little sex - then we might as well make it official."

Stephan Bauer's new program is, as always, great fun!

Free from 18, but also an open reckoning with the single society, eroding values and the feeling that "anything goes".
