80 years since the end of the war. A research workshop

Many people in Stuttgart get to the bottom of their own family history. 80 years after the end of the Second World War, the participants in the seminar are given an introduction to the holdings of the Stuttgart City Archive. The focus is specifically on the end of the war in 1945 and the time after: Where can I find address books from this period? What data is available in the city archive? How can I find out which buildings in Stuttgart were destroyed by bombs?
The seminar presents interesting and useful sources, explains their use and shows them in the original. You will be able to carry out initial small-scale research together on site.
The course is primarily aimed at people who have little or no experience in archival work.
