The Stuttgarter Bläserkantorei has been helping to organize church services in the Stiftskirche for over 50 years, countless in the meantime! There is a clever recipe behind this astonishing continuity: disciplined refinement of traditional masterpieces, coupled with the courage to keep discovering new things. Over the years, the ensemble has developed a stylistically wide-ranging repertoire. This includes music such as Airs & Atmospheres by the enormously prolific British composer and arranger Derek Bourgeois (1941-2017). How nice that the duo instrumentation of wind instruments and organ is also extensively used - with our second collegiate organist Clara Hahn on the Mühleisen organ.
