The song program "Scenes from the nursery" is a musical journey through the world of children, a world in which the boundaries between reality and fantasy are often blurred. Elves, fairies and fairy tales coexist with the dog, cat, nanny and parents.
The song cycle "The Nursery" by Modest Mussorgsky forms the concertante core. In addition, there are works by Schumann, Wolf, de Falla, Evangelatos and others, with which soprano Maria Palaska and pianist Ilonka Heilingloh shape little Mischa's day. From waking up to going to bed, scenes from the child's everyday life are musically brought to life.
The concert is also suitable for families with children.
