The music of the groovy Celts goes straight through your ears and stomach into your legs. It is not for nothing that the quintet bears the name Tanglefoot (tangled feet). The five musicians from Tübingen have won the affection of their fans at the same rapid pace at which they play their Irish tunes. They know how to develop their own rousing sound from traditional Irish-Celtic songs.
Their own songs form the basis of their program alongside traditional songs and standards from the Celtic folk scene. The impressive voice of British front woman Nadia Morlion, together with her typical English humor, gives the program a very special touch. Violin, mandolin and whistle are seduced by rock, pop and ethnic grooves on a journey into modern times. Modern musical elements mix with centuries-old traditionals to create an exciting combination.
